The Hydro One 2020 yearbook was a self directed client project for academic purposes. As part of my third year Major Studio Project class we were provided with a client project to be completed for the course.
The concept behind my design is a creative take on the collage style examples provided by the client for reference. When I think of any workplace I think of a beehive with the worker bees all working closely together to benefit the whole, so I created a honeycomb themed collage.
Because of this analogy I have chosen to incorporate a hexagon theme throughout the book to be representative of the beehive. As far as colour and typography I have adhered to the brand guidelines provided to make the yearbook feel a part of the Hydro One brand.
